The Well Person Elite is our most comprehensive proactive health assessment and encompasses a physical review consisting of blood pressure followed by an extremely detailed analysis of your blood work including the following:
These tests include:
- Full Blood Count – looking for anaemia, white cell count and platelets
- Kidney Function
- Electrolyte levels
- Liver Function
- Thyroid Function tests
- Inflammatory Markers (CRP)
- Bone Markers (calcium, phosphate, uric acid)
- Triglycerides
- Cholesterol
- Vitamin D
- Ferritin (iron stores marker)
- Blood Glucose Level
- HbA1c a marker of blood glucose over the previous 3 months
It also includes the following cancer markers:
For Males, the review will include a prostate-specific antigen test (a marker for an enlarged prostate and prostate cancer);
For Females, CA-125 (a marker of ovarian, endometrial, peritoneal or fallopian tube cancer).
The elite review also encompasses your sex hormones such as:
- Testosterone
- Sex Hormone Binding Globulin (SHBG)
- Free Androgen Index
- Oestradiol
- LH
- FSH
- Progesterone
